If you are looking for things to do this Easter bank holiday weekend, Farmer Gow’s Easter Eggstras are great fun for all the family.  The farm lies just off the A420 near Faringdon, Oxfordshire.  What could be sweeter than a cuddle with a little Easter lamb while you feed it a bottle of milk?  The farm is full of new life and one of the few places where you can actually hold the baby animals.

Throughout the bank holiday Easter weekend - from Good Friday to Easter Monday - Farmer Gow’s has Easter games, treasure hunts, trailer rides and farm animal experiences.
  • You can bottle and hand feed an Easter lamb or adorable goat kid!
  • Try tickling a wriggly piglet or give them a good pat
  • Meet our free range chickens and collect freshly laid eggs
  • Bottle feed a goat kid, perhaps even take it for a walk
  • Easter quizzes for the children with a small treat for every participating child
'Hands on' farm animal handling and feeding experiences - chick handling starts at 10.30am every day.  Meet the Animals continues at 11am and at 2pm.  Enjoy interactive 'hands on' feeding and handling of our farm animals - including piglets, ewes with 'lambs at foot', newborn bottle fed lambs and goat kids, chick handling and egg collecting.
Trailer Rides around the farm to feed the porker pigs.
Easter Egg treasure hunts on the giant Bale Climb with a prize for every participating child.

There's lots of things to do throughout the Easter bank holiday weekend and plenty of fun for all the family!

Our tearoom overlooks the Farmyard where children love playing in the activity areas.  Refreshments are served all day in the south facing room, which is warm and cosy.  Enjoy watching your little ones zooming about on pedal tractors or disappearing down a tunnel in the giant Bale Climb.  Our daily treasure hunts add to the farm fun and the ‘Easter’ quizzes include a small treat for every participating child.

Farmer Gow's is a lovely day out for all the family on a farm in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside .

See our Home page for daily programme of farm animal experiences.  The activity areas (both in-barn and outside) are open all day long.

A special family day out throughout the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Farmer Gow's is a great destination for families looking for a fabulous day out over the Easter Bank Holiday 2018.  There are lots of things to do.  Our Easter lambs love a bottle feed.
The staff are friendly and informative, if you want to find out more about the animals, they are on hand to answer questions and let you combine a bit of educational play with the fun of the day.  The farm is open daily 10am – 5pm, every day of the week but it’s always a good idea to arrive half an hour before feeding to make the most of some hands on time with the animals.
