Farmer Anne Gow welcomes all Mums on Mothers' Day (weekend) for a special family day out.  Complimentary treats for all mums, including granny.

The whole family can enjoy cuddling a little lamb or goat kid.  You can hold a fluffy chick in your hand, tickle a wriggly piglet or collect fresh eggs from the chicken houses. Lots and lots of 'hands on' farm animal experiences to enjoy.

Mum's are particularly special for the whole weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March.  Special treats include ~

* Complimentary cuppa and cake for all Mums!
* Chick handling - 10.30 am & 1.30 pm
* Meet the Animals - 11 am & 2 pm
* Meet the Fowl, including egg collecting - 11.45 am & 2.45 pm
* Treasure hunt for children & Mothers' Day quiz, with a small treat for every participating child

The fun starts at 10.30am with chick handling.  This leads into our very special 'Meet the Animals' sessions, held twice daily at 11am & 2pm.  Enjoy 'hands on' feeding and handling of our piglets, ewes with 'lambs at foot' and bottle fed goat kids.

Mothers' Day fun and games for all the family!

Our tearoom, with woodburning stove, overlooks the Farmyard where children love playing in the activity areas.  Refreshments are served all day.  Mums, nannas, grandmas and grannys can enjoy watching their little ones zooming about on pedal tractors or disappearing down a tunnel in the giant Bale Climb.

Our Treasure Hunt for children continues the fun, with a small prize for every child.  There's even a farmy ‘Mum’ quiz for everyone to enjoy.

Farmer Gow's is a lovely day out for all the family but a particularly special treat day for all mums during Mothers' Day weekend.

See our Home page for daily programme of farm animal experiences.  The activity areas (both in-barn and outside) are open all day long.
