Lamb

The farm has a mixed flock of Beulah, Coopworth and Welsh Black Mountain sheep.  During 2012 we are lamming from February - May.  

  • March-July - fresh hoggett available monthly
  • July onwards - new season lamb
Juicy, succulent and full of flavour - you don't need a large joint to enjoy a delicous family meal.  

Small-medium joints and cuts available from the farm shop freezers.  For a special occassion requiring a large or specialised cut please speak to Katherine and she will arrange.

Throughout the year from the farm shop (frozen)

  • leg & shoulder joints
  • chops
  • mince
  • diced for stews, casseroles & currys
  • burgers
  • sausages

Ordering a fresh 1/2 lamb - approximately 10-14 kg, butchered to order

Leg choose 1 whole leg - or butcherd into 2 or 3 pieces
Chops approximately 12 chops - bagged in 2s, 3s or 4s - please choose
Mince in 1/2 kg packs
Diced in 1/2 kg packs
Offal heart, kidney & liver - please let us know if you don't want any offal

Lamb burgers and/or sausages can be added to your order from the farm shop or in lieu of some of the above items.
