Duck ~ Goose ~ Guinea Fowl ~ Turkey

Duck

New for 2012 - day-old chicks arriving in June to add to our Christmas range of farm reared meats

Goose

New for 2012 - day-old chicks arriving in May to add to our Christmas range of farm reared meats

Guinea Fowl The guinea fowl

New for 2012 - to add to the farm shop meats.  Our first guinea fowl are arriving as day-old chicks in March with more following in July.

Guinea Fowl is about the size of a small plump hen.  Its naked head is topped by a bony ridge.  Guinea fowl meat resembles wild game such as pheasant in colour and flavour.  Guinea fowl were originally kept by farmers because their noisy cries warn other poultry of approaching danger.

Turkey

Raised for Christmas.  Slow grown, we specialise in the small-medium bird.

Farmer Gow's gammon, chipolata sausages and sausagemeat for stuffing also available.
