Be a Farmer for a Day workshop available May - October

Be a Family of Farmers workshop available for adults with children aged 6+ years ~ February - October

Newborn lambs are just amazing.  Help us to look after our ewe mums and their little ones.  Help us also to look after our hand reared lambs - they need lots of milk bottles every day.

Sheep have been farmed for thousands of years and the annual lamming period is as fascinating today as ever it has been in the past.

At Farmer Gow's we are keen to encourage adult and youngster interest in farming and the countryside.  This workshop involves all aspects of rearing sheep - feeding & watering the ewes, assisting with spray marking, ear tagging, iodining newborn lambs, bottle feeding.  Very much a 'hands on' experience.
