June on the Farm

A great time to visit the farm, we have some very cute little goat kids to bottle-feed and lovely wriggly piglets arriving mid month. There are few places where you can bottle feed and handle the animals yourself but this is what makes Farmer Gow’s special. If you’re looking for a great day out in Oxfordshire, there are plenty of things to do on the farm in June.

Meet the Animals is held daily at 11am and 2pm, if you come a bit before then you’ll be sure to be able to join in the fun.

Tickle a piglet, bottle-feed a little goat kid and take a goat for a walk. Hunt for treasure on the Giant Bale Climb and hold a sweet little ‘eeping’ chick in your hand. Farmer Gow’s is a real hands-on experience that makes great family moments and memories to treasure.

Trailer rides around the farm take you to feed the larger animals, our dinky Dexter cows have had five little calves this year and Polyanna pig and the porkers do like a snack.

You’re welcome to bring a picnic and use our indoor and outdoor picnic areas, or there’s a lovely Tea Room if you’d prefer a tasty farm treat. Hot and cold food and drinks are served all day.

And, as if that was not enough, why not enjoy several days at the farm on the by staying on our Campsite.
