Farmer Gow’s is a wonderful venue for Pre-school, Playgroup or Nursery Trip. The farm’s principle focus is the handling and feeding of farm animal species but there are also a range of activities which will keep young farmers interested and busy for the duration of your visit. 'Dear Anne - I just wanted to thank you for giving Lechlade Little Learners such a fun day out a couple of weeks ago when we visited Farmer Gow's. Personally I had thought that we would struggle to entertain 3 year olds for the time that your programme proposed but happily I was wrong and they all loved it. For me I thought that the meet the animal session was really well done. Thank you!' Best regards, Jane Hewlett The farm has facilities for up to 100 children and is happy to arrange additional 'Meet the Animals' sessions for large groups. Especially for this age group ~ Farm brochures - available, prior to your trip, to distribute to families - just let us know on booking how many you require Parents welcome - with younger/older siblings Group area - central to all the farm facilities Programme - arranged around the children's regular lunchtime Under 3s go FREE Treasure Hunt - optional extra @£1.25/child - or as an alternative to the Trailer Ride Baby change - 2 baby change rooms Discount vouchers - for each family visiting Farmer Gow's Pushchair friendly - all the main areas are accessible to pushchairs Fenced play areas - the main activity areas are all fenced, to give parents support and reassurance whilst supervising their children's learning and play. 'We have had a fantastic time again - very 'hands on'/interactive. Lots of fun, time flies. Oliver Tomkins Nursery. 'We loved the Trailer Ride. The pigs made lots of squealing noises!! The hay bales are really goo.' Hopscotch Pre-school, Chiseldon. 'Everything has been thought through very well by everyone at Famer Gow's. We are had so much fun! Even when it rained.'
