Farmer Gow’s is a wonderful venue for National Curriculum field trips, particularly for Key Stages 1 and 2.
The farm’s principle focus is the handling and feeding of farm animal species but there are also a range of activities which will keep young students interested and busy for the duration of your visit.

'Fun at the Farm' - Kipper and Anna ‘s own School Trip to Farmer Gow’s is described in this Oxford Reading Tree book. A great reading resource, both before and after a school trip. Reading level 4. Complimentary copy to each class visiting the farm.
Worksheets - Farmer Gow's questionnaires, word searches & crosswords provided at the end of your trip.
Group area - reserved for your group with enough picnic tables for all group members. Central to all the farm facilities.
Programme - arranged around the children’s regular lunchtime
Treasure Hunt - optional extra @ £1.25/child, or as an alternative to the Trailer Ride

Fenced play areas - the main activity areas are all fenced, to give supervising adults support/reassurance whilst children learn & play
