Be a Farmer for a Day ~ details

This workshop is available throughout the year, for children aged 10+ years.  Farmer Gow's takes a maximum of 2 children per day and immerses them in one of the oldest human occupations ~ livestock farming. 

Be a Farmer for a Day is an action packed, busy and absorbing day in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside.

Lamming Experience ~ 2011 details & booking form

Avaiabe daily from Monday 14 March - Friday 6 May.

At Farmer Gow’s we are keen to encourage youngsters to develop their interest in farming and the countryside. This workshop involves the very basics of the farm’s daily routine and care of animals during the lamming season.

Woodland Workshop details

Trees & woods spread their roots deeply into our past … and probably our futures. 

Grown ups, families & children are invited to come along to find out how to plant a tree, have a go at some identification and uncover some amazing connections between trees, conservation and sustainable living!  

A relaxed (especially with respect to the weather) and non-technical 1/2 day for adults and children.
