Time - 1.30-4.30 pm
You are welcome to bring your own decorations for your wreath.
* Tutored workshop up to 3 hours
* Wreath pack - wreath ring, reel wire, moss, ribbon to hang and make bows, orange slices, cones, cinnamon sticks, lotus pods.
* Refreshments - hot drink, mince pie, farm produce samples
Please bring foliage for your wreath - wreaths take a lot of foliage. You are welcome to bring extra to share with other students. Nordmann Fir will be provided.
Suitable foliage - you don't need them all, just choose a few favourite
* Ivy berries/ tree ivy
* Single ivy leaves
* Any other evergreen foliage
* Berries, Cones, Nuts and/or Seed heads
All plant material needs to be cut at least 2 days before you use it and the stems kept in clean water. It will then have a really good drink and will therefore last a long time.
Most of the above foliage is freely available but do be aware from where you re taking it and only take what you need. If you have a problem getting foliage please let us know.
If you would like to make your wreath into an Advent Wreath instead, for indoor table use, you will need to also bring 4 pillar candles to put into the wreath.
You may wish to decorate your wreath with Christmas ‘bling’ - such as baubles, lights, glitter. That's fine, just bring your favourite decorations with you also.
Finally tools, please bring
* Strong scissors or preferably secateurs
