Autumn Adventures
Day Tickets are available through this website. Staff are happy to provide support with online registration and booking.
Autumn is one of our favourite seasons of the year. It’s fabulous to see the young autumnal trees in Henleaze Wood ablaze in copper, mocha and burnt orange hues. If the weather is kind, you may want to explore the field trail or trek through and around the saplings, fruit trees and indigenous species. Even in wet weather, the farm offers plenty to see and do indoors.
We have log bags, boxes, kindling and fire lighters in the barns and shop - all ready for the first home fire of the fall. Farmer Gow’s naturally seasoned hardwood logs and kindling, is sourced from sustainably managed ancient woodlands within 1 hour's drive of the farm and is perfect for all wood burning stoves.
We operate two Meet The Animal workshops, morning and afternoon, in a modern farm barn where the animals are let out of their stables into the communal activity area. You get to stroke and feed the goats and sheep, watch the waddle of the turkeys and stroke the velvet noses of the cows.
Our Chick Barn, massive bale climb, imaginative play are all in covered barns. The farm in Autumn is a lovely place to spend a natural, untarnished, nostalgic time indoors or outdoors. Going back to those traditional activities we’ve lost along the way.
Autumn Adventures - for pre-booked tickets we recommend arrival times as follows to enable you to join a Meet the Animals workshop (included in your Day Ticket)
* Morning visit - by 11am
* Afternoon visit - by 3pm
Arrival without pre-booking - please allow an extra 10-15 minutes for us to process your Day Tickets and allocate you to a workshop.

* Mondays to Thursdays are reserved for pre-booked School / Group trips. Please book through Education - Day Trips & Mobile Farm.

Day Tickets are non-refundable but valid for 30-days. If ill health affects your booking we are happy to extend the validity of tickets so that they may be used on another day/date. Please email your change of date to - enquiries@farmergows.co.uk
