Description
As its name suggests, this farmyard animal is a breed of small dairy cattle from the British Channel Island of Jersey. The purebred Jersey Cow has been gracing the isle for more than 200 years and there are now approximately 3,000 of them here.
Jersey Cows are known for their beautiful golden coats, white markings and dark eyes. They have a friendly and gentle nature, and can often be spotted munching fresh grass through the summer months.
