Farm Shop Assistant Manager Vacancy

On The Farm
This exciting position will support existing staff in the office, shop, kitchen and tea room. We aim to provide the best possible experience for our visitors and customers and therefore encourage applicants who are cheerful, keen to learn and interested in joining and supporting a small but dedicated permanent staff. Please note training will be provided. Application deadline: 25/3/2026. The role is varied and includes:

  • Hosting, meeting and greeting visitors to the farm

  • Customer service in the farm shop

  • Sales – till and online

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy shop

  • Updating the farm's online shop

  • Ordering stock including gifts and toys

  • Training will be provided for all tasks and branded T-shirt will be supplied.

    One to two days per week. Friday and Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, or Thursday and Saturday, or Saturday.

    Additional hours/days may also be available including during school holidays. Hourly rate will depend on age and experience. We are keen to meet applicants who are interested in working in a rural location which has a strong teamwork ethos. Job Type: Part-time, Permanent. Part-time hours: 7.5 to 15 hours per week. Salary: £10.85 to £15 per hour, depending on age and experience.
